the band.

Suffice it to say, as a constant live presence, the band, and eponymous beard’s place in the scene has been cemented in stoner rock’s collective imagination.

Since their inception in 2016 the Texans in Red Beard Wall has been making waves in the global underground stoner rock scene. After signing to Argonauta Records mere months after dropping their demo things started to quickly fall into place for the band.

Balancing dark and light, Red Beard Wall developed a far different sound than many of their bearded brethren. By March of 2017 Aaron had acquired a live drummer and kicked off what remains a hectic show schedule. With the ball suddenly rolling, frontman Aaron Wall rapidly put together their debut full length, recording and mixing everything on his own.

Over the past few years the band has leaped from peak to peak, playing festivals like SXS Wand Mist Fest in Austin and dominating stages throughout the South. Late 2017 even saw them take on an East Coast Run. In the process of realizing their hard hitting schedule the band has played with everyone from Whores to Backwoods Payback by way of High Priestess and Rozamov.

The Evolution: The Fight Needs Us All

Following that feverish anticipation, The Fight Needs Us All officially dropped via Argonauta Records in February 2019. The sophomore record was hailed by underground critics as a “monsterpiece” of first-degree ear battery. It perfectly locked in the band’s signature “Yin and Yang” vocal style-seamlessly jumping from serene, melodic hooks to throat-shredding, sludge-metal howling.

Backed by relentless touring, including a notable run alongside doom/noise-rock titans Thunderchief on the “Sacrament of The Ninth Order” tour, Red Beard Wall effectively solidified their reputation as one of the hardest working duos in the heavy underground.

Influenced heavily by the likes of Floor, Helmet, and Torche, the album showcased a band that was heavier and gnarlier than ever, yet daring enough to weave lush, beautiful sonic landscapes into the chaos.

With multiple festivals, including Ripple Fest Texas, an alum of 2024 and 2025 Maryland Doom Fest, Stoner Jam, Born to Burn Fest, Gravitoyd Doom Fest 1,2, and 4. as well as multiple U.S. tours including The Jaunt of a Jillion Joints, two runs with Stone Nomads, two runs with Kentucky‘s CROP as well as a south east U.S. run with Gnarled all in support of the critically lauded “3.”

A New Chapter: Album 3

Never one to let the dust settle, Aaron Wall kept the creative engine roaring. After dropping the 420 Raw Split EP with Opium Warlock in 2020, the band entered anew era by signing with independent powerhouse Desert Records in early 2021

On July 2, 2021, the band released their highly anticipated third full-length album, aptly titled 3. Described as a “riff salad with a healthy side of groove soup,” 3took the band’s post-hardcore melodies and raw sludge aggression to a much deeper, more emotionally urgent level.

The Present Era: FTW (2026)

Continuing their relentless march forward from the dry plains of West Texas, Red Beard Wall has refused to slow down. Keeping their fiercely minimalist, high-impact ethos alive, the band spent the subsequent years dominating regional and national stages and sharpening their sonic blade. In the spring of 2026, the band generated fresh waves of hype with the explosive single “W.A.N.T.S.”, quickly followed by vehemently, anti A.I. anthem, “FTW” RBW released their highly anticipated June 2026 EP, FTW.

Delivering soaring vocal melodies over devastatingly heavy, down-tuned tones, Aaron Wall and company continue to prove that their stoner-metal Cinderella story is far from over-it is only getting louder. Future plans are much the same... brand new full length album, November 2026. Many many skullcrushing shows...
